Alex is a PhD candidate in English and American literature and a Lynne Cooper Harvey Fellow in American Cultural Studies. His interests include 20^th- and 21^st-century American literature, American historiography, and religion and literature. He has worked as an instructor and tutor in several university, writing center, and high school settings.
