Christiane is a PhD candidate in philosophy-neuroscience-psychology and holds a graduate certificate in women, gender and sexuality studies. Her main areas of interest are feminist philosophy, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of psychology. Her dissertation concerns the relationship between psychology and feminist philosophy. For example, what can feminist philosophers learn from empirical work on gender categorization, childhood development, and the subjective experience of gender? Christiane co-organizes the Feminist Philosophy Reading Group and was a graduate fellow in residence at the Center for the Humanities in Fall 2016.
