Lisa is a sixth-year PhD candidate in English and American Literature as well as a certificate student in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She studies eighteenth-century British women’s fiction and is currently writing a dissertation that investigates how these authors use narrative forms to imagine utopian worlds for women. During her time at WashU, Lisa has taught College Writing and Introduction to Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
