What brought you to The Writing Center?
I first came to The Writing Center due to a suggestion from a friend. I was taking a writing
intensive course that was, as the name implies, quite intensive. I left The Writing Center
with a clearer sense of direction and a better understanding of what I was struggling to
articulate.
What do you like about working with writers in The Writing Center?
I love seeing how each writer’s individuality and uniqueness show up in their writings.
Reading and hearing the perspectives of writers not only helps them by being able to talk
through their ideas but also teaches me new points of view that I had never considered.
What challenges you most about writing?
I struggle most with over-revision and knowing that the essay is in a good state and I
should just turn it in.
What advice do you have for writers?
There is never anything wrong with needing help with writing! Writing is constantly a learning
process and everyone continues to become a better writer throughout their life
